These tasty Mini Asiago Margherita Panini start with good quality Italian bread, fresh mozzarella cheese and large fresh basil leaves. Toasted with a brush of olive oil and served with warm Asiago cheese & artichokes dipping sauce, you can't go wrong with these savory sandwiches.

- 1 jar (24 ounces) Bertolli^® Five Cheese Sauce with Ricotta, Romano & Parmesan Cheeses
- 1 loaf (about 20 slices) good quality sliced Italian bread
- 1 pound fresh mozzarella cheese,, thinly sliced
- 30 large fresh basil leaves,, torn
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Directions
- Step 1: Spread 1 Tbsp. sauce on each bread slice. Top half the bread with cheese and basil. Cover with remaining bread, sauce side down. Brush outsides of sandwiches with oil.
- Step 2: Cook in panini grill or on heated grill pan 3 min. on each side or until golden brown. Cut panini lengthwise into thirds. Serve with remaining warmed sauce.
- Step 3: Variation: Get creative and add sliced Italian meats, roasted red peppers or your favorite Italian toppings to sandwiches.
