Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Bertolli^® Olive Oil Light Taste
- 1 onion,, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 jar (24 ounces) Bertolli^® Tomato & Basil Sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream [or whipping cream]
Directions
- Step 1: Heat oil in 12-inch skillet on medium-high heat; add onions. Cook 3 min. or until tender. Add meat; cook 4 min. or until browned. Drain well. Return to pan.
- Step 2: Add wine and sauce to meat mixture. Cook on low heat 10 min. Stir in cream; cook until heated through.
- Step 3: Serve over hot cooked pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
